Role of a Dietitian

Dietitians are health professionals whose knowledge and expertise in food and nutrition support people, in health and illness, to make healthy food choices. Dietitians' science-based education in food and nutrition, as well as their many skills as educators, researchers, managers, health care providers, program planners and policy makers, position them to practice in diverse settings.
