Dietitians of Canada is a member of the International Confederation of Dietetic Associations (ICDA), an Association of national dietetic associations. ICDA represents about 150,000 dietetics professionals around the world.

The ICDA Secretariat, appointed by the ICDA Board of Directors, is the administrative office for ICDA. Dietitians of Canada currently maintains the Secretariat and the web site for ICDA.
